LRC (Learning Resource Centre)

The LRC is a vital part of college life it is managed by members of staff who all have their own areas of expertise and they are available throughout the day offering support to staff and students alike. They will assist when staff accompany their class to the LRC for research or when students are sent individually to exchange reading books or for independent study.

Our centre isa well equipped resource area with access to reading and research books, laptop computers, desktop publishing, photocopying, a stationery shop and media suite, to name but a few of the resources available. During free time students are welcome to participate in any of the following clubs.

 Early Bird   Tuesday – Friday morning 8.15 – 8.35. am

 A chance for students to drop in and catch up on the latest news, read books or magazines or finish homework  

 Lunchtime   

 A chance to chill out. Participate in chess and draughts leagues, read, research or  cash in rewards.

 3 0’ Clock Club 

Operates as a homework support offering students the use of laptop computers, library books and a wide range of stationery to make sure that their finished work is of the best quality.
